of the 2003 NCHA TRIPLE CROWN CHAMPION, Chiquita
Pistol. With career earnings in excess of $435,000 Chiquita
Pistol made history on July 27, 2003 when she became the first
horse since 1984 to sweep the Triple Crown and the only mare to
ever accomplish this feat. Smart Little Pistol is
the only living sire of an NCHA Triple Crown winner.
